It’s so hip and swank, for the area, and just in general. I love wine bars, but the addition for the chocolate really made it stand out as different. Such a fun idea. It’s a great place to go for a girls’ night, or it can be a reallyromantic date spot too.

upscale and hip

The prices are kinda high for such tiny portions, but I guess that's New York for you. The food really is great though, always fresh which makes it easier to swallow paying a little more. It's funny because on the mostly Mediterranean menu they have hints of Asian as well. I asked the owner about it and he explained that it's because they really just want to focus on the wine, so whatever goes with that goes on the menu. I liked that appraoch --they don't limit themselves. And with that, I ordered the Angry Chicken Lolipops (chicken skewers with a far cooler name) and found them to be outstanding. The wine list is great, the service helpful (though a little on the slow side) and the atmosphere is upscale and hip. Overall, really great. I can't wait until summer because the outdoor seating looks like it will be awesome!
