Great Decor and not so great Sushi

I was very impressed when I entered the modern build out of An in Cary, North Carolina. The appetizers were good if you tried the dumplings or crab cakes. The sushi, however, was a bit chewy and depply colored, in a bad way. Another oddity was that your appetizer platters would come with a fishbowl in the middle of the platter. Inside the fishbowl was a live goldfish. The one at our table was turned sideways and very close to his final breath. We had to ask our waiter to remove it from the table. All in all, I may go back for the bar, but will stay away from the sushi!
