Anton & Michel, a landmark restaurant in Carmel for over 20 years, is an elegant and romantic restaurant. The cuisine, ambiance and service are a hallmark blend of Old World elegance and modern charm. The menu offers a creative continental cuisine, guided by the distinctive and artistic flair of Chef Max Muramatsu, who was trained at Maxim's in Paris and Tokyo. Anton & Michel is "probably the best dining experience in downtown Carmel" as quoted by the Wine Spectator in March of 1998.
