Fun for a crowd

I went to Davio's with a group of work colleagues. We had a long table, which made it hard to hear anyone who was not sitting right next to you or across from you (this restaurant gets loud). At this place, if you have 10 or fewer table-mates, ask for a round table so you can all talk and see eachother. That being said, everyone had a great time. The wine list was a huge hit, as were the appetizers. Beware of the blue cheese puffs! They are delicious, but strong flavored! The crispy thin onion rings were delicious as was the sauteed spinach with toasted pine nuts and sultanas. The only dish that was mediocre was the fusili with shrimp. The pasta was homemade, but undercooked. The shrimp tasted fishy and the dish was otherwise bland. The desserts were delicious and our server was attentive and helpful.

While most restaurants that serve Italian food have that traditional 'ma and pop' feel to it, Davio's makes their atmosphere more modern. The food here is incredible, making it a favorite for many folks who live in Boston. Additionally, the location makes it convenient for those who have plans either before or after their meal. This restaurant is great for many types of occasions, ranging from a first date to the important business meeting. Moreover, Davio's has a large bar for those who just want to grab a quick drink in a comfortable and modern environment.
