Toulouse is a white table cloth restaurant with a casual feel, in a “Loft” space overlooking Peachtree Creek, in the heart of Atlanta. It is the most wine honored restaurant in Atlanta. It’s reasonably-priced wine list features over 60 wines by the glass, with free tastes offered before the guest makes a selection.
Wall Street Journal said, “At a little place called Toulouse, we found wine-bar heaven.” Travel & Leisure said, “Atlanta’s Best Restaurants: Floataway Café, Toulouse, Seeger’s.

Talk about average

I was told that this restaurant is a little out of the way, but it's worth finding. Nah! There are other adventures that would lend a lot more pleasing end than heading out on The Adventures of Toulouse. The service, though friendly was average. The ambiance, though a little cozy, could use some sprucing up. Most importantly, the food was nothing noteworthy at all. I thought the goat cheese in filo sounded amazing, but it sounds better than it is. It's a nice concept, but the presentation is elementary and it needs to be served warm, not room temperature. My companion had trout, which, yes, you guessed it, was average, and I had the scallops, which, though fresh, needed some seasoning.
My rating: 5 out of 10.
